I just added the scans of the Entertainment Weekly article to the gallery. It's under "my albums" (titled Entertainment Weekly Summer 2005 Music Preview Issue) because I'm a techno-boob and couldn't figure out how to add it to the magazine area. Wendy or Ashlee, if you can change it that'd...

I thought it was sort of interesting that just 2 short years ago Daniel was enough of an "unknown" that he could decline to name his ex-wife and daughter and the press left him alone about it. Now, of course, the paparazzi not only know their names, they camp out on their doorstep.

Click it a couple of times to get it to the full hi-res size. I just checked it and it worked for me. :)

I have some old magazines laying around the house and was pleasantly surprised to find this 2005 interview with Daniel from Entertainment Weekly. I'd seen the photo before but don't remember reading the interview. It may already be posted somewhere in DtoD's archives but I'm too lazy to check -- so ...

"Son de Mar" and "Jamon, Jamon" both are films directed by Bigas Luna. You probably noticed that two very important ingredients are food and sex (I would say that in all the films by this Spanish director  ). No wonder I like his films so much... ;) I have not seen "Go...

I'll post some Javier Bardem photos on the Other Actors thread. I just happen to have one or a few dozen hanging around my Photobucket. ;) Dashing of course - but that role is about as senseless as they can get. Not even Dan could make something out of that True, but he was lovely window dressing! :...

Javier Bardem is a damn good actor and has a brutal sexual magnetism too. Oh good Lord yes. When he is in Madrid is not difficult to run into him at night. His family has a bar and quite often he is there. The bar is nice and make lovely Spanish ham croquettes; some of the dishes are named after Ja...

Agrippina, I am with you about the coffee issue. Difficult to make at home a decent cappuccino, difficult to find good coffee out of Italy, and I would add Spain  LOL, just last night I was watching Javier Bardem in "Huevos de Oro." At the beginning of the movie he is very keen to g...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who draws much of my reading list from movies I watch. If I like a movie well enough, I almost always want to read the book it was based upon or find a book to learn more about the subject matter. Mary Openshaw needs to add "Vengeance" by George Jonas (the boo...

The only name I've heard mentioned is Eva Longoria as his first wife, Neile. (That would be fantastic casting, I think.) But you're right -- there needs to be more, considering McQueen was married twice more and had countless affairs. This movie might be the biggest boon to actresses in a decade -- ...

To a degree I think men and women are drawn to the same thing about McQueen: He was just such a man.

Would love to see him in Papillon (lots of drama/no sex scenes) or a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair (at least a few sex scenes). It would be a treat indeed to see Daniel in the famous chess-playing scene. =P~ And I agree -- if they had to remake that film, they should have waited and done it wit...
