I have a region1 DVD, but this one I can only watch on my comp.
And the other one a friend of mine had recorded for me from the german TV is dubbed (in a horrible way, I can stand it).
So I suddenly would buy a region 2 DVD in english with Subtitles

I really don't like the german dubbed version, horrible voice (my opinion). But I would like german or at least english subtitles.
My region 1 version has no subtitles at all

Usually there's an English language track included. I wonder if they're going to put any extras on the DVD...Deb wrote:Is that in Region 2 & in English? I would so love to be able to buy that.
BTW, here in Germany Obsession is on TV on October 8 and 11 (on Arte). Just the dubbed version of course.
Oh and welcome aboard bettymiller!

That's for sure, but I like to have subtitles.Anglophile wrote:Usually there's an English language track included. I wonder if they're going to put any extras on the DVD...
In Germay there is a new release of "Sword of Honour" available and this one has the english and german soundtrack and german subs.
What I like best is english soundtrack and english subs or at least geman subs.
On the new release of "TheTrench" here in Germany there are no subs (neither in english nor in german) available . So you can understand everything but for this reason you have to watch the dubbed version. That's no real alternative
yippiayeah
I just found this
http://www.kinowelt.de/detail.php?id=19 ... Dobsession
German soundtrack and multi-language original soundtrack (German, English, French) and at least german subs!
Extras: Interview with Daniel and Heike, a making of, fotogallery and starinfo
I think the last two features can be ‘disregarded’
