South Bank Show: James Bond is scheduled for ITV1 on Wednesday 22nd October 2008 at 10.35pm, running time 60 mins.

The South Bank Show looks at the unrivalled impact of Bond, examines the longevity, success and impact of the character, and the creative and artistic aspects particular to the Bond brand.

The South Bank Show focuses on the cinematic vision for Bond and discovers why the Bond films have always been a major popular cultural event and captivated our imagination; and comes right up to date to demonstrate how the franchise has succeeded so spectacularly in re-creating a modern brand.

Melvyn Bragg interviews the first James Bond, Sir Sean Connery; and current Bond Daniel Craig on the set of the new film, Quantum of Solace. They discuss what it means to be Bond. The South Bank Show also talks to the cast in the new film including: new Bond Girl, Olga Kurylenko, new villain, Mathieu Amalric; as well as Dame Judi Dench who returns as M, and the director of Quantum of Solace, Marc Forster. The film discusses the Bond music with the current composer David Arnold – and chats to Goldfinger’s Pussy Galore, Honor Blackman, about the changing role of women in Bond.

God Daniel will be in the green room with Grace Jones - eek! poor boy!

I unfortunately can't record it for the computer as I only have prehistoric video however I presume it will be available right after on the BBC I Player : http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/ I assume this isn't limited to UK people.

I just saw our boy on ET , they showed a preview of Defance and he spoke about filming where some of it actually took place . AAAAHHHHHH he looked hot !!! Let the promotion begin .

I am already loking forward to Jons next "craggy face" joke

He does them, even if Daniel isn´t even there, like in his interview with Jamie Bell about Defiance. It would piss me off, knowing I have to go to shows, where I will run into an open knife at some point. But, as he continues to go there and since they are some sort of friends, it might bother me more than him

I don't know if this has been posted previously but a good advance listings website is www.locatetv.com. I am not too sure how far in advance it goes but it allows you to input a title of a movie, tv programme, actor/actress and then it brings up a list to match the search and hi-lights upcoming shows. I think it can be set for US or UK.
At the moment is it listing the showing times and dates for Casino Royale, Infamous, Rennaisance & Road to Perdition.

DC will be on ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT on Mon . the 13th , they showed a preview and he had his beard , he was talking about QOS.

Anything to be able to share Daniel with you all!
I have an HDD recorder which I will have it on. I think that I might be able to get the recording onto my computer but I don't what format it will be in. I can probably do the conversion OK to a watchable format but depending on the size of the file, I won't know what to do from there?
