Larsson was a heavy smoker, didn't exercise and colapsed with a heart attack after walking up a few flights of steps. Since he modeled MB a bit after himself - which DC touched on in the interview - he was hated by a lot of right wing elements in Sweden and there are internet theories that he was murdered for his political views. No proof at all though.

There were theories his death was not of natural causes.
It's known that he received death threats from neo Nazis, due to his engagement against Nazis. He had to fight against many attacks because he published the anti-fascist magazine Expo.
Thank you for your replies Tampa and Dunda....I wasn't aware of the situation. So sad and unfortunate if any of it is true. Just the fact that he passed at a relatively young age is tragic enough and then all the added theories. Thanks again for catching me up!
