Linda wrote:I just loved to read the above article about Daniel looking for the lost ear piece. It shows how he is such a caring person, so ordinary. By that I mean he is not above looking in the garbage bin to find something for a fellow guest. Good for him. Next time I loose my earring down into my bra, I will call him.
Wonder how long it will take for the earring to disppear?
It will take longer for it to be found instead yes?
Maybe because you make sure, he won´t be able to find it until he has searched your whole body, yes?
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Daniel Craig leapt into action when Sir Peregrine Worsthorne lost his hearing aid at a dinner. “He turned to the dustbins, plunging his arms into the kitchen waste,” Perry writes in the New Statesman. The device was “hiding in my shirt” all along.

What James Bond really drives

Daniel Craig might drive fast cars as James Bond but ever wondered what he drives when he's not on screen? It is still fast but it's an Audi S6 rather than an Aston Martin.

Christopher Lee on the modern 007: `they have to change certain things`
Actor News - 05-02-09

Christopher Lee has said James Bond bosses might need to "change certain things" about the spy movies.

The Lord Of The Rings actor - who starred as Bond villain Francisco Scaramanga in 1974's The Man With The Golden Gun - said of the long-running film franchise: "I think they have to change certain things" - reports The Press Association.

"I mean, you cannot make a film which consists all the time of stunts and explosions and wrecks and beautiful women and technical tricks.

"There's a danger there that the actor - or the whole cast - isn't entirely convincing. That people are inclined to remember the effects, and that's dangerous with any kind of film."

Christopher, 86, added that the 007 films should continue as long as movie-goers demand them, but warned: "I think you have to be careful when you make these films that they don't become repetitive, you know - Martinis shaken not stirred, my name is Bond, James Bond, which in Casino Royale was the last line of the film."

The actor was also full of praise for current Bond Daniel Craig. "He's a very good actor Daniel Craig, a very good actor," he said.

DANIEL CRAIG - CRAIG PLUNGES INTO WASTEBASKET FOR NEW PAL

DANIEL CRAIG rolled up his sleeves and dug through the trash at a recent dinner party - to help a fellow guest recover a missing hearing aid. British journalist Sir Peregrine Worsthorne had difficulty hearing after the device went missing at a gathering in London's Notting Hill - and he was stunned when the James Bond actor offered to help locate it.
But he didn't expect Craig to get down and dirty to find the aid.
Worsthorne writes in the New Statesman: "Daniel Craig, the great film star, took the lead in searching for it. Having looked in all the chairs and sofas, he turned in desperation to the dustbins, not hesitating to plunge his arms into the kitchen waste.
"When it transpired the hearing aid was not lost but hiding in my shirt, having fallen through the open collar, Craig managed to smile rather than scowl; and it was he who went to the off-licence when the booze ran out. A good sport."

Daniel is such a gentleman and a nice helpful man.
Non jet-setter here. What does he went "to the off license" when the booze ran out? What is off license mean?

It's an establishment, in the UK, that sells hard spirits.

That surprises me - but its a lovely surprise all the same :D Wasn´t there a live camera last year? Thanks Vicky...and yes, presenting the award for Pinewood - there is no better than James Bond, who really gave it an upward swing...

Will anybody of our fellow Brits will go there - now that Daniel is coming? Still too cold, I guess...

What also surprises me is that they gave it to Jon Ross - its their most prestigious show - seems they have forgiven him...
