Women prefer handymen to hunks
It's the question that has plagued men for centuries: What do women really want in a man? Well, the puzzle may have just been solved thanks to new research. And the results aren't what you'd expect.

The nationwide survey, carried out by Duracell, has revealed that women would much rather live with a tradesman than a lawyer, banker or civil servant.

Almost two thirds of women prefer ‘handy men' and a shocking 34% admit that they are likely to stray for a man who knows his way around a toolbox.

Shockingly, in the fictional character showdown, Bob the Builder managed to beat both James Bond and the Diet Coke Man. The lovable handyman scored a massive 41% of votes, compared with the 007's 24% and the steamy delivery guy's mere 11%.

However Daniel Craig emerged as the male celebrity that women would like to put up their shelves, restoring our faith in surveys.

'The results highlight that tradesmen really are the backbone of Britain,' says Mark Pataky, from Duracell. 'British women love a man who is practical around the house.'
So what do you look for in a man? Would you prefer a skilled handyman to a rippling hunk? Let us know in the comments box below.

Who is your favorite Bond?
Among other things I am obsessed with I am also obsessed with James Bond. Love the Bond Character! So who is my favorite Bond? You guessed it, Daniel Craig. Before him I would have said Roger Moore mainly because he was the first bond I saw. I remember as a little kid thinking Roger Moores bond was so cool. Have you recently watched a Bond movie with roger Moore in it? I didn't realize how funny they are. Or were they supposed to be serious? Any way, Daniel Craig was the perfect Bond to me. He is hot, and bad ass! His Bond does not need to rely on gadgets to kill someone, he does it with his bare hands. Call me sick. I find this hot. LOL! Oh and I just read the next Bond movie is going to be in 3D!How fun is that?I can't wait to see his...gun, I was going to say gun in 3D!I can not wait!

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Zus Bielski carries on stories of Defiance

On Feb. 11, Chabad of Charleston hosts a special multimedia lecture with the son of Zus Bielski, the inspiration for the movie Defiance. Released in 2008, Defiance stars Daniel Craig and tells the story of Zus, who along with his brothers, escaped into the woods of the Republic of Belorussia during WWII to evade the Nazi regime. They built a village, which came to be the home of 1,250 escaped Jews.

The lecture itself, given by Zvi Bielski, will contain video clips of Zus speaking about the events that took place as well as stories Zvi remembers his father telling him that didn’t make it into the movie. To attend, RSVP by phone to (843) 884-2323 or e-mail info@southernspirit.org. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn in Mt. Pleasant, and it is $10 for adults and free for students.

Turnbull & Asser’s shirt factory in Gloucester is a little larger. But it is still close enough to be flexible. Staff tell the story of the first set of shirts they made Daniel Craig for Casino Royale. Measurements had been taken at 23 Bury Street before the summer break. When Craig returned for shooting, he had beefed up and the shirts didn’t fit. Cue frantic calls to Gloucester. Production was stopped, a special order put through and the new shirts flown out to the Bahamas just in time for shooting. Try doing that if your factory’s in Nanjing

Sorry, it's German, but I think I can post it anyway .

NDR Online: Für "Same Same But Different" haben Sie in Kambodscha gedreht.

Ich mag es aber: Same, same, but different.

Buck: Die interessanten waren nominiert.

I give it a try (only the bold one), altough it's not worth it

NDR is a radio/TV broadcaster
Buch is a german director who had made some decent movies, mostly comedy

NDR On-line: During an interview you said that you would like to work with Daniel Criag. Why?
Buck: I've met him a few times when he was with Heike Makatsch.
Indirectl he has helped me in a hotel in Vietnam when I got a crappy room and wanted to change the room. When I showed a picture of Daniel and me, the house person said: "Oh, it is mister Bond!", and I've got the best room. Heike was three years with Daniel and Daniel can't dance. I have danced with Heike, while Daniel sat at the bar.

NDR On-line: If they would asked you, would you make a "James Bond" movie ?

Buck: I'm too stubborn for Hollywood, they only want you to deliever what they expected.

To be honest I don't think he said that. I always had the impression that he's a t least capable of giving a descent interview. He's knows Heike and I'm sure that he knows how long she was DC's gf.

I can't tell if STW and boyfriend look like a mother-son thing or more or closer in age. I guess it's because I already know and can't look at them with fresh eyes... Anyone else?
