Fashion Designer Billy Reid In His Own Words
KPM: Huge! We were fortunate because we had just launched a global part of our e-commerce, so we were able to fill orders from all over the world. We had people from Japan and China and Australia. And it continues. It has stayed part of the Bond language, that jacket. I didn’t understand that there was this whole world of Bond collectors. It’s a big deal.
BR: It was really one of those things, Daniel Craig was a customer and bought the coat and had it and I guess a year or so later when they started to make the movie he said, “I want this coat.†And he had the stylist from the movie call us.
KPM: Apparently, he’s good friends with the guys from Kings of Leon and they had brought him into the store in Nashville and he had bought three or four pieces, one of which was the coat.
BR: We sent some things for the next Bond movie, and it ended up on the villain. So we got a little bit of play but not quite the bounce.
KPM: I think Tom Ford locked down that one.
BR: Yeah, we snuck in.

Woohoo - really, I have problems thinking of Daniel bringing out a movie these days.
Lets remember, he needs (in our mindes) a f***ing success on his resume. Its not all that good. I would doubt, this is it, but you never know - may open the door to different roles.
BUT - he was "fat" for that movie and is trim fit for Othello, nobody sees - in comparison . He is a lost case, in the best of ways. He never sold his soul for success, which many did. Proud fan here. Many things angered me during all these years, but at this point, I can only say, "Well done, Mista"

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
