I hope, the tree stays. Chopped a bit is not as bad as killing it.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Nice council mail for RW to return home to, she's of course filming in Willesden!
I jest.... Probably the management company for the house did this on their behalf.

Beautiful area.

Why do ANY trees have to be cut down? :?
I love trees. We need to nurture, not destroy them.
I hope the tree only has to be 'pruned' a little... can't the neighbour be a bit more flexible? :dunno:

Sadly tree and hedge roots can cause infrastructure damage (had a bit of experience with this with our neighbours - our wall almost caved in because of hedge roots) but and engineer could surely sort that out and see if its actually causing it.

Actually Camden Council have refused the neighbours wish to fell. It'll be lopped but there's now a preservation order on it.

I've just been reading today's Saturday Review section of The Times, which has a feature, 'Film 50 Power List - Top Brits at the Movies'. JK Rowling, writer, and David Heyman, producer, are ranked at no. 1 as a team. Daniel is at no. 38. Naomi Harris is at no. 23, whereas Rachel is in the group who didn't make the list, ranked somewhere between 51-100.

The snippet about Daniel mentions him dithering over playing 007 in a fifth movie. It also says he is much in demand after a year's sabbatical.

Naomi before Daniel. In what world are we living in?

She's up an Oscar for best supporting actress in Moonlight, maybe that has something to do with it.

BTW,
I just think about Daniel managed it for about 14 months not to appear at any public event...had no photocall...no press conference...gave no interview neither on radio/TV or the printed press. I am sure, Daniel loves the way it goes (for him). But for me? I am 50/50 about it. I just wish me more presence of him.
And I want him for Bond 25!

Jana he can't hide

He has Lucky Logan out in October and then perhaps King's too.

He also will have Purity on TV, so at least we know there are appearances and more news to come.

But yes bring on Bond 25! For 2018 maybe?
