Oh my. Thanks Germangirl for the info. I'm amazed at how different the stories are! I certainly like the one you presented better than the other one.

btw, i really hate that they do this, i mean, they release a single dvd version, a 2 dvd set colletor's...and then you buy the 2 dvd....after some time, then oh! they release another collector's with more feature...and what do a fan have to do? spend more money! it sucks! really! they should release everything at the same time....for customer's sake!

Hynes: 'Daniel Craig loved my boobs'

ImageActress Jessica Hynes has claimed that James Bond star Daniel Craig was impressed by her breasts when he met her.

The Spaced and Royle Family star knew Craig when he was a teenager and apparently caught his attention while in the swimming pool.

She told the Daily Record: "We were on tour together and, when I came out of the swimming pool, he said to me, 'Wow, Jessica, you've got massive jugs'.

"I laughed and didn't know quite what to do, but I think he can be forgiven because he was only 18 or 19."

aw Jessica Hynes is cool, under her previous name (Stevenson) she co-wrote Spaced with Simon Pegg as when as co-starring so I will always rate her. She probably made an off-hand comment as you do but she probably wouldn't expect her words to be turned into a "hold the front page" news item. I think you can be forgiven something you said at 18, it's quite sweet really :)

It's the same with the story that one of his co-stars from Layer Cake told (Daniel would only play a gay scene if an Oscar is guaranteed). I think these kind of people only want to get attention

Daniel's warning role

Daniel Craig has apparently revealed playing a washed-up movie star in new film Flashbacks Of A Fool was a warning to him.

The 007 actor plays Joe Scot, a fading Hollywood star who has fallen out of favour with the public and whose hedonistic lifestyle has taken its toll.

Daniel, who's 40 next month, revealed to Empire magazine that it made him think about what his own future could hold.

"It's never too early to be a has-been!" he said. "But that's not the relevance. The important thing for me was always that, if you're not looking after yourself, things will spin out of control.

"The story is very simple. Joe has driven himself right into a corner, and I kind of relate to that. I can understand wanting to hide away from everything, because people seem to be staring. It does get you down a bit.

"That's why it seemed fun to do this film, to play around with that image. Who knows, maybe I will be something like Joe Scot in a few years time. Never say never!"

He added: "There's not a lot of point in being unduly optimistic about this business. It'll turn around and bite you on the arse - that's just the way it is.

"But, I mean, I liked this character when Baillie (writer-director Baillie Walsh) first wrote it, and I like it even more now that I can go, 'Ah, maybe we can push it - play with the dark side a bit more'."

The film opens on April 18.

Just a tiny, slightly funny note from last weekend's Helsingin Sanomat (the biggest newpaper in Finland). They ran an interview on Robert Harris (author of Archangel just in case you might not know) about his new book The Ghost.

There was some speculation about movie rights and it was said that the main character is a bit of an alter ego of Harris... His own choice for an actor to play this man, or himself, would be Bill Nighy, although he secretly dreamed (?) of George Clooney or Daniel Craig - it's just that in the latter cases his wife would never stop laughing!

Harris's photo can be found e.g. here:

Maybe he should go see Ed Norton

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

don't know where to post it, think it kinda fits here

Life in the Fast Lane
In one of Casino Royale’s heart-stopping moments, 007 reaches under the dashboard of his Aston Martin DBS for the defibrillator that can save his life after he’s been poisoned by a digitalis-spiked cocktail.

Unfortunately, neither the defibrillator nor, even more unfortunately Daniel Craig, come as standard on Aston Martin’s latest release, but the V12 engine, carbon-ceramic brakes and a body almost as sexy as Craig’s, do.

This month Living Tenerife test drives the new Aston Martin DBS and decides whether it’s a sports car or a GT – that’s Gran Turismo, not gin & tonic, which incidentally, should not be the preferred tipple of a DBS driver. Clearly it should be vodka Martini, as you’re unlikely to be shaken, but most definitely stirred.
