BOND A GENDER BENDER

JAMES Bond star Daniel Craig is set to swing both ways when he plays bisexual Roman emperor Hadrian.

The 007 actor is favourite to land the role as the Roman leader who liked boys in a new £25million blockbuster, Memoirs Of Hadrian, by veteran Brit director John Boorman, 75.

Craig, 40, caused a stir earlier this year when he suggested writers should make the secret agent swing both ways.

At the time he said: “Why not? I think in this day and age fans would have accepted it. No-one blinks an eye.”

Now the Hollywood hunk will be able to get some practice in as he prepares to take on the role of the art-loving warrior emperor.

Hadrian, who ruled Rome from 117 to 138 AD, is famous for building the wall dividing Scotland from England.

Less well documented is his affair with a teenage Greek boy called Antinous and his wife Sabina’s refusal to bear him any children.

This is the James Bond star's rather understated home.

This seems a bit intrusive.

Yeah, we found our house on Google earth once, then we found my BIL's house and emailed it to him and he was freaked out cause he lives in the boonies of Maine so he can have privacy.

Does he still live in this house anyway?

Can you imagine being one of his neighbors there, right next to his house?

Being the sleuth's that we are, didn't we determine that he was still in London, and hadn't moved to Surrey. Can't imagine why he would, Surrey is nice and all, but he always struck me as a man-about-town type. Plus being from the north, doesn't he spend a lot of time in Yorkshire and thereabouts.

I don't think "The Daily Star" is a particularly reliable source but anyway...

I am pleased at ANY news of movies that Daniel has in the pipeline! And with this one, it's all good cause he'll probably have to take his clothes off - again!!!!  I just hope he will continue to honour us with his greatly anticipated and thought provoking / arousing  movies long into the future, ie, after QOS, Defiance and any marriage plans... :)

Thanks for the link, Joni. A friend of me lives in a similar house and I think it's very nice. Maybe I should buy a house like that myself when I settle down...
