I went to see it with Viv and my mother and we all left the theater bouncing around and shrieking in fangirly glee. And not over the guys in the movie (we don't notice or care about things like that. Unless it's Daniel Craig, I've got a bit of a thing for him). It was how well all the characters FIT. It was like the old show, but BETTER. So yeah. Get on that.

Shouldn't this be in the movie review section ? There are about 5 reviews there now .
I think GG posted this for the DC reference, not for the ST review.
Crazy!

The List .....
On the inspiration of a friend I have decided to make two lists, one of things that make me go 'Hmmm' and one of things that make me go 'mmmm'......

http://littlemisscrafty.blogspot.com/2009/05/list.html
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

They have to be joking don't they?

http://entertainment.oneindia.in/hollyw ... 60109.html

But......Daniel did say that he wouldn't do it. (someone will have to help me out here, because I can't remember where  )

Not sure how accurate the Brad Pitt thing is though. Just called my sister who has to be the #1 McQueen fan in the galaxy, and she pointed me to the fact that 1) Neile Adams (McQueen's ex-wife, but custodian of his archives) wants Daniel for the role and 2) his widow Barbara wants Daniel too. Between them they have McQueen's rights all tied up so if it goes ahead without their backing it will very likely be with huge holes in the information.

There are sites already commenting and going "oh no!". Bearing in mind the hell Daniel went through when he was announced as Bond, I'm reluctant to do the same thing to another actor.....but I just can't imagine Brad Pitt as the iconic and legendary McQueen. :?

Some reports of last night's dinner at Nobu. One thing about all of these is that they are showing a photo where he is not frowning - about time too. As we all know, he smiles often, but they just don't choose to show those photos most of the time.

Pictures to the left of the short paragraph, full spread of photos. http://www.gossipgirls.com/daniel-craig ... obu-310628

The rest are basically the same, with that half-smile photo.

Not particularly new...do you think he's found DtD yet?
Joe Jonas Crushes On Daniel Craig

Joe Jonas has just been hailed as InStyle’s “HeartthrobJon” in its June 2009 issue.

The 19-year-old Jonas Brother has become one of the biggest teen idols of our time. “It feels great when you’re on stage and girls are screaming for you,” he says. “I become a different person.”

What does Joe deem sexy? “I like Spanish music and the female singers,” he reveals. “I can’t understand what they’re saying, but as a songwriter I get it.”

He also revealed his celebrity crush: 007’s Daniel Craig

I think this is a really new and funny one I first read in the German teletext and later searched in the internet. Now I had to translate it on my own. Hope it's still funny enough  .

DANIEL CRAIG: drunken too much
15.05.2009
LONDON (die-news) – Daniel Craig has drunken too much wine on Wednesday(13.05.). Like the British newspaper “The Sun” reports, the actor was out for dinner with his daughter Ella and his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell in London’s nobel-restaurant Nobu. An eyewitnesss reports that the wine had a lot of effect. “He went to the toilet every 15 minutes very quickly and when he ran against a door he just said ´Oops´. His daughter had lots of fun while observing her Dad.”

For the German girls, or everyone who wants to read it in the original version:

DANIEL CRAIG: zu tief ins Glas geschaut
15.05.2009

He certainly likes a good time...and isn't it great that he can be so relaxed in front of Ella et al - even in "public".

Are you serious ? Would you like your parents to be drunk in front of you ? I would be mortified if my dad were a public figure . What does that say about him ... I'm hoping this isn't true .What happed to his pledge to stop drinking or prehaps it was a joke on Leno ?

I read in a blurb in the paper that martin Scorcese ( sp?) is making a film on Sinatra and DC and Simon Baker are people who are being thought of . Others have mentioned Marc Anthony and Harry Connick Jr.
