After giving it another thought - I don´t think he would buy either car. If he feels like a wanker driving around in an Aston, he wouldn´t buy a Lotus. He was talking about the Aston and driving around in it in London in one of the recent interviews.

and I can imagine that drving a Aston Martin makes him feel uncomfortable....caused by the BOND-ASTON association

Well, he IS driving around in that big black Range Rover, which is not necessarely very cheap on gasoline nor very good for polution. I take him as a guy, who can very well have a man crush on a car and would probably drive around in an Aston, if it wasn´t drawing too much attention on him
