I am really happy, it worked out for them. She is a courageous woman, who doesn't give a **** either. She has been through serious health issues, so she knows, what counts in life
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
This is not really a news tidbit but I don't know where else to post it.
The Guardian/The Observer online has an item today on the 10 best Bond outfits – with pictures - as a new exhibition celebrates 50 years of 007 style. As you might expect, it includes Daniel's famous blue swimwear from Casino Royale. See picture 4/10.

The Telegraph had a similar item on Bond style yesterday.

Bobby Hanton about Daniel Craig:
"As Daniel Craig’s double he leaped across buildings 90 feet up with gun in hand in a classic Bond-versus-baddie scene.
But before women ditch their box sets and start looking for an alternative action heart-throb, Bobby has plenty of compliments for Craig.
‘He did a hell of a lot himself in the movie. He’s a great actor, that’s what he’s there to do, but he likes to do his own stunts too. He’s very physical and a great athlete.!

Not DC news, but I wanted to post here since Ann Curry gushed and flirted with him so rampantly. I was never a fan of her in her role as anchor of the Today show, she had big shoes to fill, but I think she's far better in the field or at the news desk.
But her departure announcement this morning clearly shows she's gutted and very upset. What a shame she's had to deal with this side of TV.

I agree Mrs. B. my heart was breaking when she made the announcement.bumblebee wrote:Not DC news, but I wanted to post here since Ann Curry gushed and flirted with him so rampantly. She is a great journalist and I was glad to hear she will continue to do what she does so well, report on world news and special reporting.
I personally don't think Savannah Guthrey will be the solution for the Today Show, I found myself switching to GMA as it's higher energy.

I think, her journalistic whatever pretty much left her during this interview - she didn't follow him at all, just wanted to shoot her questions at him and GET HIM. A missed opportunity for a good interview.

I am sorry for her. Why can't NBC do things without making scapegoats out of their people? Conan and then this? I've read comments that Matt Lauer and Curry had chem issues and Matt was behind her departure.bumblebee wrote:Not DC news, but I wanted to post here since Ann Curry gushed and flirted with him so rampantly. Don't know if true of course!
I think the problem is ML too and his condescending attitude. I don't like him. Hated his Blond Bond thing which he again brought up during QoS promo which I didn't like.... But that's another thing.
I have enjoyed Meredith the best so far.
