Something like that. I can't remember what interview it was but I'm sure Dunda will come up with it :D
My turn to be the smarty pants, it was the Layer Cake interview and he said it about directing, and that he'd rather put nails in his eyes.

YEP, last paragraph on the second side

There is a website "Dedicated to Daniel" that has the picture that you are looking for as well as several other pictures from the same scene.

This maybe the picture that you are referring to. I find this website very comprehensive and well organized to find pictures of any DC related items. Make note, I am not taking credit for anything on their website but merely pointing you in the right direction. DtD does an outstanding job organizing and getting the most recent shots of anything DC related. Hope this helps....

Bond girl Caterina Murino dazzles at Omega pavilion in Beijing

James Bond has worn OMEGA Seamaster watches in every movie since 1995's GoldenEye. His has become a household name and 007 is an enduring part of our popular culture. The iconic secret agent is associated with the exotic espionage equipment and vehicles which play crucial roles in his missions. And, of course, there are the Bond Girls.

Caterina Murino, who created such a memorable impression with international audiences when she appeared on-screen wearing a green bikini and riding a white horse in the movie Casino Royale, was the star attraction at an event celebrating the Bond Girls. It was held at the OMEGA Pavilion on the Olympic Green in Beijing.

Ms. Murino was joined onstage at the Pavilion by Kevin Rollenhagen, President of OMEGA Greater China. He described arriving in China for the first time in 1991 with a staff which consisted of a part-time driver and a part- time translator. "Since that time, OMEGA has had a total transformation here, just like China itself."

Rollenhagen talked about OMEGA's involvement with the James Bond film franchise dating back to 1995. "GoldenEye was released that year and it was at just the time that our market in China was really starting to develop." He pointed out that Casino Royale was the first James Bond film to receive official permission to be shown in China. "It was a powerful indicator of just how much the country has been opening up."

Caterina Murino said that being cast in Casino Royale "was a huge present for me. It was like living a dream."

She described how her participation in the film almost didn't take place. She was preparing for another film which required her to ride a horse. A friend let her ride a race horse which threw her to the ground leading to a broken rib and injuries which made it difficult for her to walk. She was scheduled to audition for the role a day later but the director made other arrangements and she was successfully cast in the career-changing movie.

"When I got the script for Casino Royale," she laughed, "it was 120 pages long. On those 120 pages there was one horse -- mine."

Asked whether she was a victim of the so-called Bond Girl jinx which suggests that actresses who are cast opposite 007 are type-cast in similar roles and not considered for more substantial parts, she answered, "No, no, no, no, no. I have been offered a range of completely different roles in films all over the world. All I can say is 'Thanks again, Bond.'"

Caterina Murino starred in the 2007 film St. Trinian's with Gemma Atherton, who has been cast as a Bond girl in the upcoming Quantum of Solace. Based on her close association with the Bond producers and her friendship with Atherton, could she give the audience any inside tips about the new Bond movie?

"I know everything about the script," she said with a smile. "And I'll share one detail with you. At one point Daniel Craig will say, 'My name is Bond. James Bond.'"

Daniel Craig to donate $12,000 to disaster victims

James Bond actor Daniel Craig will donate about 12,000 dollars to buy new boats for a group of fishermen in Irrawaddy delta that was ravaged by Cyclone Nargis in May, a local media report said Monday. Craig will donate four sea-going vessels and 21 smaller boats to fishermen in Ah-lai-thaung village of Pyin-kha-yaing town, Flower News weekly reported.

'His representative came to Myanmar and said he will pay for 25 fishing boats, and our committee brought the representative to that village," a member from the fishery rehabilitation committee told the publication.

It will cost about 15 million kyats (about 12,345 dollars) for the fishing boats made locally, he said.

Any news tidbits on what DC is doing now? The last time we saw them was in LA at the Sony movie Pineapple Express premiere. Wonder what his next movie role will be. There's been no news at all. He has nothing lined up? This is turning into a really dry news period.

He's probably enjoying some time off after the filming of QofS and charges the batteries before the premieres. Whatever he's doing; I hope he's doing well.

civil service
James Bond star Daniel Craig has come to the defence of the civil service in the run-up to the release of the latest Bond installment, Quantum of Solace.

Eon is currently making the next Bond movie, the cryptically-named Quantum Of Solace, starring Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench and newcomer Gemma Arterton Photo: REUTERS
In an interview with Empire magazine, Craig insisted the civil service would always come to the rescue should something go wrong with British politics or society.
He said: "You have the monarchy, you have government and then you have the civil service. The reason the civil service remains a non-political organisation is that if the s*** hits the fan, like goose-stepping Nazi b******s, you hope the civil service will turn round and go 'We've got it covered.' That's Bond."
In Quantum of Solace, Bond picks up where he left off in Casino Royale, in a vengeful mood after the death of his lover. 'The bloodiest Bond ever' sees 007 take on a villain who is trying to corner the market on water.
Producer Barbara Broccoli has insisted the film will appeal to families, saying: "We make family adventure films... sadism for the entire family... We always need to bear in mind that it is a family tradition."
Earlier this month it was announced Princes William and Harry would be among the first to see the latest instalment of the Bond franchise when the world premiere is held in London later this year. http://commanderbond.net/components/qui ... item=48828
Producers announced the film will be screened on October 29 at the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square.
Stars of the 22nd 007 adventure, including Craig, Dame Judi Dench and Gemma Arterton, will also attend the premiere.
Directed by Marc Forster, the film will then be released in cinemas around the country two days later.

About Total Film Mag
I just bought this month's TF magazine and it has a FREE double-sided poster feturing both QoS posters so far. It also contains a scoop on Camile's character for anyone interested. At £3.90 it's worth getting the mag just for the posters!
