This is from a long time member of CBN. Nice read
Why Q0S Will Be The Best James Bond Movie Ever, Surpassing FRWL, OHMSS, TSWLM,
I wanted to write this in response to the numerous posts in this section of the forums which cast doubt over Q0S simply because, as examples, the 'run time is less than 120 mins' or 'the vocals on the song suck' or 'he does not say "Bond, James Bond"' or 'it does not have Q or Moneypenny', etcetera.
I think Quantum has every chance of being the greatest James Bond film ever.
I think we're looking down the barrel of an exciting, tight, taut, highly explosive and emotionally-charged and ing awsome 007 film. Possibly the greatest ever.
I think the slightly-shorter-than-Goldfinger run time may actually work in it's favour - cutting out, for instance, pedestrian and lingering scenes and winceful 'jokes' and sexual innuendo. I mean, the Aston Martin chase from the off will be so kick- , people won't even care if the movie is 1h 46m or 1h 56m!
I think we have an outstanding group of talent on this motion picture and it all starts with the greatest and most talented ever actor to play James Bond. An actor who can speak volumes with just one look.
Then we have Paul Haggis - a proven Oscar winner with an acclaimed James Bond film under his belt - (mostly) providing the screenplay.
Then we have an outstanding young director who was chosen for his ability to draw special performances from even the most ordinary of actors (an Oscar for Hally Berry, for instance) instead of his nationality.
I think his work with Dan Bradly will be just mind-bogglingly fantastic. Forster is an art-house man but you can see from the trailers and tv spots what a hard-hitting, kick- , ing awsome set of action we have in store for us.
I think we are going to have the greatest combo of character and action ever put up on screen in a James Bond movie. Forster and Bradley. What a ing awsome combo!
Craig, Haggis, Forster and Bradley. This is a James Bond fan's wet dream, folks. Each at the VERY HEIGHT and PRIME of their careers. Just imagine that? It's not like ing 80 year old Apted and tired old Vic doing TWINE.
The level of talent in front and behind the cameras is high.
And, most importantly, the desire of Wilson and Broccoli to deliver quality and take risks and challenge themselves is even higher. It's not like Harry and Cubby lazily doing TMWTGG or Cubby getting the 'family' ready to do AVTAK simply to maintain the two year gap and put out product. Eon's motiviations are totally different now, i.m.o. and I think Casino Royale rejuvinated them and gave them heart...to continue in the "right" direction.
Anyway, we're in for one hell of a ride, folks. And this is coming from someone who went to a drive in with his parents and watched the re-release of You Only Live Twice before Diamonds Are Forever was premiered back in 1971. This is coming from someone who's been to nearly a dozen James Bond opening nights.
So, those of you who are worried about this and concerned about that, I say "relax, baby..."
We are on the verge of the greatest James Bond movie ever and I can hardly wait!

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

The Final 'Quantum of Solace' Poster Is Here
James and Camille front a moody one-sheet
The third and final poster for Quantum of Solace, the second James Bond film starring Daniel Craig, has arrived, thanks to ComingSoon.net.
As expected, the artwork matches that of the official soundtrack album, which emerged last week.
The moody poster features James Bond and Bond girl Camille against a stark desert background.

This is really different I think. Not those multi colored - telling the whole film - posters of the past, nor the photoshopped version for CR. Like it.redluna wrote:The Final 'Quantum of Solace' Poster Is Here

I liked one of yours very much - I even printed it out. Not gonna look for it now, though - the one with the roughed up Bond and Greene behind I believe. That was great and would have worked very well too.

O thanks for that! (Only two letters wrong, Im improving )StarryDannyFan wrote: Schizophrenic - the word you are looking for. Ray asked me to correct you and I'm the resident psychariatrist. Take your medication please.
PS When someone mentions Ray I grow slightly envious. Lucky folks have seen Some voices
Most artwork Ive seen is better than official for me. New poster is decent but I dont like Olga's face expression and haircut. Overall it's effective but I'd prefer Green to feature too...You printed wich one of my artworks?
Why not. They were great but for the films of the past (I mean Bond movies)Not those multi colored - telling the whole film - posters of the past.
This is actually most action-movie producers' wet dreamThis is many film goers wet dream.
Best line in this post Nothing to add.it all starts with the greatest and most talented ever actor to play James Bond. An actor who can speak volumes with just one look.
Some articles defending AWTD. My thoughts exactly.

First media review (Verdict: Not as good as CR but as an action fest manages to do well)

P.S. I refuse to believe no one has good quality version of the song! Pleeeese!
