From the IMDB Bond 22 forum:

"Now I don't know how credible these various random sourses are but I've managed to find some rumors regarding Bond 22. It has definetly been confirmed that the movie opens up just two minutes after Casino Royale with Bond confronting Mr. White at his mansion on retreat and will follow James Bond as he investigates the masterminds behind the Le Chiffre operation. Bond's thirst for revenge apparently takes him to Tuscany, where he dukes it out with the bad guys during the Palio, a centuries-old bareback horse race that has fallen under intense criticism for the way its equine participants are treated. The aims are still to really capture the essence of Ian Flemings original character. It has been confirmed that REALISTIC spy equipment and gadgets will be used in Bond 22 but as of now Q's character is not written in the script. Moneypenny is also still MIA, they still are not sure if whenether or not they want these characters in thew newly rebooted Bond Universe. In an interview I read about Daniel Craig hinted that the title is suppovily a number although nothing is known for sure. I thinkt eh title is probably what is going ot be revealed next, they are sure of it so its just yet to be leaked to the public.
Thats all I scratched out for now "

She is named "Fields" and her role is descriped as nice sized - which can be taken as confirmation that she is indeed NOT the main Bond girl.

She is probably MI6 staff.

Ooooohhhhh. Good thinking, GG. I was thinking she would be the main Bond Girl and was disappointed at how young she is and looked.

If they are smart, they will give Dans Bond a woman not a girl...But I was thinking, too, that since he will NOT fall in love in this film, what BIG role is there for a woman? The baddie roles are taken...

I've been thinking the same thing. I'm wondering how they'll handle that. They can't really go back to the old formula, but he can't fall in love every movie and then have the woman die. I'm very curious about this aspect of the new movie.

I just read an artical that she is a love interest for bond but i think they wrote that because they don't knowwhat to call her . A Bond girl is good , bad or the love of his lif and dies .If she worked for MI5 I would hope they would still call her Moneypenny , unless she is a "Field " agent pun intended . I wouldn't want him to shag so soon after Eva .Bourne stuck to one girl in two movies . What happened in the third ?
