Trailer hysteria in the Bond world. But I assure you, the guys over at the other boards are almost worse - so go on screaming
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

You only live twice or so it seems..
One life for yourself and one for your dreams...And one day I realize that I was addicted to Daniel Craig's blue eyes.

Me too...

The '30 seconds' remark was great; nice to see whoever was putting the trailer together was having as much fun doing that as we are watching it! :D

He is looking very good in the trailer - not that I was repeatedly watching it, or pausing the shirtless scene or the one with Gemma, of course!? :P
Dreaming as always...

I saw the Hungarian trailer. Not bad but I miss Daniel Craig's voice. Th Hungarian title : A Quantum Csendje. It means: Quantum of Silence.

Don't know where to put it, seem good here:

Quantum of Solace: first glimpse of new 007 movie
The trailer for Quantum Of Solace has surfaced, and Mark Oakley has been checking it out...
Mark Oakley

2006’s Casino Royale rebooted the franchise in spectacular fashion. Gritty, dark and loaded with tough action sequences, outing number 21 for the self-styled suave and sophisticated secret agent was a critical and box office triumph.

Yesterday, the teaser trailer for the 22nd Bond film, Quantum of Solace, broke, and, to be blunt, it’s bloody brilliant. Bond films have a long tradition of fantastic trailers, showcasing the requisite thrills and spills, evil villains and beautiful women that make Bond the institution it so rightly is, and this one doesn’t disappoint. Without going too much into the film’s plot, the teaser gives away just enough of the murky, complex world Bond is about to be thrown into.

It also manages to quite brilliantly portray the darker edge to Bond that Casino Royale brought to the table. Daniel Craig, now largely accepted as the right man for the role, looks every bit the pissed off and embittered agent he became by the end of his last outing. Thankfully, for me anyway, he also looks to have toned down the gym workout, his huge, body builder-esque frame of two years ago pulled back to less ridiculous proportions.
The trailer naturally shows snippets of bucket loads of action sequences, each of which consistent with the more realistic skirmishes we were treated to last time out. Plenty of familiar faces are back too, with Judi Dench seemingly having been given a meaty role from the airtime her voice gets during the sub two minutes on display here. Also making a welcome return is Felix Leiter, I for one hoping he gets a big enough role to allow the excellent Jeffrey Wright to make an impact.

Then there are the Bond girls. Not too much screen time in this teaser but the glimpses of Gemma Arterton were still enough to get me going. She is, quite simply, stunning.

So, loads of stunts, glimpses of Bond’s beauties, Dench’s ever-faithful acting prowess and a super cool Daniel Craig. What more could you want? Once the few bars of that theme play up at the end, I was grinning from ear to ear. Bond is back.
Roll on November.

We are not the only ones who can't wait for this movie.

I second all the emotions posted here and on the 'Photos & Videos' Forum thread... I was in such a state of high excitement last night I had to have a "Bond Night" and watch "Casino Royale". I personally think QOS is going to be more kick-ass than C/R was and I fully expect to enjoy it even more than CR!!!!! I'm already planning my day on October 31 and expect to see the movie more than once - if the timing is at all plausible at the theatre, I will see it three times!!! Heck, I'm gonna want to live in the cinema!!!

I've watched the trailer twice today already and I could sit and watch it on a loop all day. QOS a jinxed movie???? MY ARSE is it!! Daniel looks amazing (as if he could ever do anything but...) and there's action a plenty. I too am wishing my days away waiting for the release of this movie. It can't come soon enough for me...

And, my dearest Shar, I'm glad you found my comment about "wetting myself" amusing!! I trust you understood it's meaning?? Hint - orgasms were almost experienced!!  8)

No hints needed for that remark, NGB!!!!!

I'm with all of you in feeling torn about waiting for November and this movie. I love summer and the winter's are long in MN, so I hate to want them to come sooner than necessary. So, I've decided to sit back and enjoy every moment of the anticipation for QOS. I'm sure as time gets closer, there will be more publicity, more photos and interviews with Daniel and I'm going to enjoy the hell out of all the hoopla! :D :D :D

Is anyone else confused about the date? Has the opening been changed from October 31 to November 7?

@ NBG - of course I understood where you're "coming" from.....couldn't possibly be misconstrued.

This time I don't plan to miss it when it arrives in the theatre....I want to see him up close and personal on the big screen.....
I live close enough (5 min) to our local cinema that I don't actually have
to live in the cinema.....(NBG - you kill me sometimes).
