The double life of 007: He's the highest paid Bond ever - but dresses like a scruff and lives next door to a tattoo parlour...

The tone of indignation sickens me: "Everyone has a Daniel Craig story to tell, with a common theme running through them all: the scruffily dressed man looks nothing like one of the best-paid actors on the planet."

Usual crap drudged up in this one. Sorry ladies. DM "writers" must be bored.

"dresses like a scruff" maybe but he still looks SMOCKING HOT

According to Amazon the Skyfall DVD release date has been set for March 12, 2013. No specifications or extra features have been revealed, but we have been given a look at the DVD and Blu-ray covers

Blu-ray.com also confirms the Skyfall Blu-ray release date for March 2012, so Bond fans don’t actually have that long to wait

Hi ladies & any gents :D Sorry took so long to get back about my Skyfall review. Been busy seeing it again, and soaking up The Hobbit
premiere in Wellington on Wednesday in Middle Earth, so to speak!

I loved Skyfall.
Didn't know what to really expect as when there's a lot of build up and hype one can get let down. :?
First of all, Casino Royale will always be my favourite No. 1 Bond movie but it was different in that James fell in love with Vesper and that love story was really amazing in that film. I don't feel we will get that again and that's why it was so special to me. I just love that movie and Daniel! I was hooked on him.

I don't expect another CR. Skyfall went really quickly over 2 hrs 23 mins, and I never got bored. I loved the story, cinematography, especially in Shanghai when Daniel is on the boat sailing through the lights. Berenice looked gorgeous with makeup and natural. Daniel is a beast, so to say Caramel   and I loved the eroticism (for me anyway) when Eve shaves James. Did they or didn't they? :?:

As for romance yes it was lacking a bit, and Severine was there for about 10 minutes and then gone - expecting her to have more time. I did enjoy Eve Moneypenny though and thought Naomie Harris was great in the role. All the actors were great, especially Judi Dench (sad when she died), and yes Daniel did cry, Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem (taking his teeth out and touching up Daniel) - creepy  and Daniel was amazing as an actor, and gorgeous as ever as Bond, himself.

I loved London, reminded me when I lived there for 10 years! Loved the song by Adele :cheer: and the opening credits - I thought they were amazing. My man loved it as well and raved about it to his friends. :whisper:
There were great one liners, atmosphere, action and of course gorgeous Daniel - great to see him shirtless, his hair short and his silky velvety, senuous voice  , great facial expressions and oh he's so gorgeous!  :cheer: :jump: :blowkiss:

All in all you could say I really enjoyed Skyfall!!! :D After the huge disappointment of QofS (except loving Gemma Arterton with Daniel) it put that to rest, well and truly for me.

I know some of you may not agree with me and that's okay. I really went to enjoy a good movie, trying not to analyse it too much, and have a great time for a couple of hours, forgetting real life outside, and just being entertained. It did that for me, and yes, the cinema is going to give me the Skyfall poster once the movie is finished. Looking forward to having it, laminating it and putting it on my wall.

:blowkiss: Sue x

Sue, I was wondering when you were going to show up with your review!
Glad you enjoyed it :D Yes CR will always be unique.

About Moneypenny & Bond in Shanghai - no they didn't.
I think Bond and Moneypenny will always be flirtatious with eachother and it goes no further I think - All the Bond aficionados, correct me if I'm wrong.

Sue, I LOVE your review, too. It just makes me happy to see others so happy. I especially liked how you went into it - just looking for a good time and not to pick it apart. I loved it, too, but really, really, was disappointed by the lack of sexual anything. The sexiest part to me was Bond and Silva. The Severine shower scene could have been shown during Saturday morning TV cartoon time and would be missed if one blinked at the wrong moment. Hoping that there is more Daniel skin in the DVD extras.

Caramel, you're sure they didn't? I guess I figured they didn't when she had to tell him her name at the end. I loved her portrayal of the character. Great casting!

Me too, I was waiting for your review :D Glad you loved it as I did. When I came out of it the first time, I was really like "WOW" and had you asked me at that moment, which is the better film, CR or SF, I couldn't have told you and might even have answered SF. But CR IS special for ost of us.

C, I always believed strongly, they did it. He starts unbottoning her shirt. For what, if not going further. I think, his question in the end is just so that she can introduce herself. They could have written that a it differently.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

But she stops him. The man is supposed to try; it's the woman who stops him - or not (boy, if that doesn't sound like a stereotype!)

Bond 23 - 02-12-08

Bond star Daniel Craig has made a raunchy promise to 007 fans - the superspy's next big screen outing will be much steamier - reports Contact Music.

Craig's latest turn as the suave secret agent, Quantum of Solace, has proved a huge hit with fans and critics alike, shooting to number one at the U.K. and U.S. box office - enjoying the most lucrative Bond film opening in history.

But Craig and Bond boss Barbara Broccoli decided to focus on 007's action-packed career, rather than his bedroom antics - much to the dismay of red-blooded fans.

However, the British actor has promised the next film in the successful franchise will involve more sexy scenes - despite vowing never to strut around half-naked after the attention he garnered for his famous speedo-sporting shot in his Bond debut, Casino Royale.

He says, "For Bond to jump in bed with ten women would contradict the whole things."

"But the next movie - everybody wants it (saucy scenes) so we're going to have it."

The grin on my face after reading this is unbelieveable!!! :D

Seems as if our prayers will be answered!
I hit the first page of this thread by mistake. Wow, don't believe everything DC says (but we already know that  )
