I feel this deserves an own thread, as "The Goldene Kamera" is a rather prestigious award from "Hör Zu" a german TV magazin (one of the first ever)
In order to get an impression of what this award really is, have a look at the vid to the right http://www.goldenekamera.de/en/imprint
It is only too sad, that they won´t have a gala this year - so no reason for DC to come here...
The Axel Springer AG has resolved to take an event break in 2009. Consequent to this, the awards ceremony for the 44th GOLDEN CAMERA from HÖRZU will not be presented as a publicly staged gala and television broadcast. Instead, the award winners of the 44th GOLDEN CAMERA from HÖRZU will be announced within the scope of a press conference that will be held on February 4, 2009.
...but CONGRATS
appearently us girls here are not the only Germans, who love him...

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
Daniel Craig is currently the quintessential physical player. In the great tradition of Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton, it has always been his priority to bring his own physique into play and do all the strenuous action scenes without any help from a double. That is a significant bonus for his roles, which are characterized by their high degree of authenticity. Evidence of this can be seen in the latest Bond film as well as in his role in the World War drama “Defiance”. But Craig wouldn’t be the great artist he is, if he wasn’t a man of many principles. He is a master of the extreme – from a shout to a whisper. His film “Enduring Love” probably best shows which filigreed, emotionally sensitive performances he is capable of rendering. Craig celebrates both the indestructible and the fragile alike.
He therefore deserves the honor of THE GOLDEN CAMERA from HÖRZU.
