Thanks Red. Its a shame..,

I wish Craig worked for Fincher together...He always gets such relaxed and authentic performances out of his cast. Perhaps it has something to do with the 100 takes he makes them do.

It's an interesting juxtaposition to the very stylised and slick approach that Fincher has as a filmmaker. In that respect, the 'showiest' parts of his own films is the actual directing -opposed to the performances.

Are there not interviews of Craig speaking very enthusiastically about Fincher's multiple take process? I seem to recall seeing that.

I think, this was him being polite

Can you find those interviews? I'm looking on Youtube to no avail thus far!
