The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Peter Travers from Rolling Stone makes his expert predictions for which Oscar nominees should – and will – in each of the 24 Academy Awards categories.
For Cinematography he thinks Skyfall (Deakins) should win but Life of Pi might end up winning.
Can I say I love his predictions for the acting category? .... Fingers crossed that it will be so (for lead / support acting).

Agreed, Shirley Bassey was great, and she got a standing ovation! BUT, a lame tribute, IMO. I think Barbara and Michael should have gotten an award or something. And no Bonds present made it weak. I didn't see PI, so I can't comment on whom I think should have won. So far for me....major snoozefest. McFarland terrible. If Adele were not to appear, I'd go do something else.tbossmc2000 wrote:Yeah but the 50 years and Shirley Bassy Goldfinger was amazing.Elvenstar wrote:Rog lost
