Glad I got to see the revival of Pinter's Betrayal on Broadway on its closing night. Could not keep my eyes off of Rachel Weisz.

My pleasure! I hope there will be lots of new Daniel news to post, doing it is kind of exciting, I'd say :)
I know, just as you, Alina, really got into it, it ends. But every end is also a start to a new beginning.

This is it, despite some critics not loving Mikes direction.

The Broadway Graveyard of January

If Billy Crystal is popular, he’s nothing compared to Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz, whose play Betrayal is another of the day’s casualties. This play is a revival of an old time-bending play about marital infidelity, and played to 100% capacity through the entirety of its fourteen-week limited engagement. Anecdotally, there was always an enormous line stretching the entirety of the street at the stage door. Seen by over 100,000 people paying $149 a ticket on average, the show made over $17 million. Producers, doubtless, can’t wait to get Craig and Weisz back on Broadway, and the Barrymore Theater will welcome another classic play revival in April: Raisin in the Sun.

I don't like him. He looks pretentious in the pic. I wonder if she knows he posted it. He's trying to show off saying "Daniel Craig's daughter and I..." Hope he's not her boyfriend... Thanks for posting, GG.

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz claim huge success with Betrayal on Broadway

Pinter classic proves the second biggest non-musical hit of 2013 in New York, grossing $17.5m

Its also not correct, that Tom Hanks was more successful, as the play was 4 weeks longer in a larger theater.

Exactly!
It was 2013's second biggest Broadway hit, according to Hollywood Reporter.

The biggest was the late Nora Ephron's play, Lucky Guy, starring Tom Hanks, which grossed just under $23m (£14m) - it also had a limited run but played for four weeks longer than Betrayal in a theatre that had 160 more seats.

The Ethel Barrymore theatre, where Betrayal ran, had 1,096 seats.

Directed by multiple Tony award winner Mike Nichols, the play, about a wife who has an affair with her husband's best friend, also starred Rafe Spall.
