I just got back from the cinema & I loved it! :D :D :D

The opening was FANTASTIC!!! The costumes, the people, all of it. There must have been an amazing atmosphere when they were filming it.

It's true, there isn't enough of Monica, but it is a long film already, so I suppose they had to cut some bits.

The evil characters were superb. I'm not elaborating as I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it.

HHH was gorgeous. He could maybe have got his kit off but then some of it was set in Austria and we wouldn't want his PFA to go blue with cold, would we???

I loved the action scenes and the car chase scenes - classic Bond. It's nice to have a bit more humour in there too.

I love the way they have developed Bond's character & what makes him tick. It brings so much to the films.

The bit with the mouse was good - someone sitting behind me in the cinema was like "Noooo, not the mouse!"

What I can say : great action, great and strong characters, perfect actors, humor, the story is also great, with some surprises... and Daniel looks to die for ! :thud: :thud: :thud: Overall a fantastic movie.
Some negative points : no naked Daniel :(.... and some little others we will discuss when everybody have seen it.

I've seen it after the red carpet. It was past midnight, I was up since 4:45 am, sleeped only 2 hours and at some moments I had to fight not to fall asleep ! Not because the movie was bad but just all the excitment from the day !! Also I didin't get anything. I have to see it again in french, in better conditions and with my full mind !

I thought, there is his naked torso during the PTS. Its confirmed really.
Don't say there isn't.
But on a whole, I am disappointed with Babs. After CR, they did a lousy job with showing him off.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Naked torso yes, but only a little in the PTS
I don't think it's Babs but I think it's Daniel who don't wanted to have that kind of scenes anymore.

I think dcss refers to the scene where Bond is in his flat leafing through the "Skyfall Box" Moneypenny brings him. He is wearing a robe or dressing gown... Nope. No naked Danny.... and I am always quite vigilant for that.

Dcss, I don't know what script you read but it was not Spectre. Or perhaps it was not the definitiv one.... I know everything because I saw the movie :) But see the movie first and then we can talk.

Saw it last night, thought it was good but not a patch on Casino Royale, totally diferent to Skyfall, more of the old type Bond action film. Daniel was excellent an so was the supporting stars. One gripe was the rushed ending and also the blonde proclaiming her love after a couple of days, I hate that in any Bond film. Another was did'nt find the girl that attractive, but then it would be obvious as she never got much decent clothes or makeup besides the train scene. Monica lovely although that poker straight hair with a middle parting like a pair of curtains is the most unflattering style on the older lady. Also got the impression it would be Craig and Mendes last Bond film.
