Sadly deadline confirmed, that Villeneuve is out.

Other articles talk of Japan and France as locations

Waltz has denied being Blofeld again on the RC and he seemed sad and genuine.

MGM is going to distribute some films with Annapurna. Bond also?

Actually I think he was really lame. Some say, it was the script, but I thought, he was just not convincing. But we know, he is a good actor, so it might just have been the way, he wanted to portray him.

There's something 'off' about Waltz IMHO. All the interviews I've ever seen him do.. He just comes across as a massive douchebag. Talented actor but... Yeah.

Anyway, he was awful in Spectre. So no big deal if he isn't coming back. It'd be nice to see him get a second crack of the whip because he probably could nail it but the world doesn't work that way.

I don't find him to be very sympathish either. Sort of arrogant. I won't miss him. He tried something with that role, that just didn't work. I don't even blame the script.

Thank God for that, I thought his Blofeld was timid and ridiculous.

I'm not surprised that Christoph Waltz will not return in the role of Blofeld. Although his "end" was open in Specte. It was the way he played Blofeld. He seemed too lax. A real threat did not radiate his character. The scene from the Specter rally in Rome brought the corresponding atmosphere over. Then he scurried through the film succinctly ...

I like his acting performance in Inglorius Bastards, Django Unchained. Also in Carnage he made a theatrical performance.
