Another funny side...
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

I would probably say that I know I have watched CR too many times when I begin to speak with a British accent and drive my Town & Country like an Aston Martin.
Let's see . . .I know I have watched CR too many times when I look forward to running up six flights of stairs to my office just in case I am ever caught in a stairwell fight.

Those are good!
Add to the list ~ you go to the airport just to spy on people carrying black duffle bags.
When peopl ask you how your (food) was, you say "Skewered. One sympathizes".
You ask every Swiss you know "You didn't bring any chocolates with you?"
You end up buying you DH/SO the same baby blue swim trunks that Daniel wore and beg him to go to the beach with you (please bear in mind your DH/SO's shape when you try this one or you'll end up pretending you don't know him!)
Instead of renting a hotel for a mid-day rendez vous with your SO, you fake an injury so you can try a hospital bed.

That is great!
you have watched it too often when you begin searching a rope and ruin your very, very expenisive chair in the dining-room after a dispute with your hubby

It happened, when I was at a rather formal gathering, when somebody mentioned a casino, he was visiting. Of course that made me thinking of CR, which led to the casino scenes, which led to that quote here, which makes me just freak out every time I think about it (no idea why, though)

Well I've settled that I've seen it enough at 15 times. What gave it away though was I was filling up my gas tank and a guy at another pump asked me directions in these exact words, "do you know how to get to the interstate from here, i'm a little confused." Feeling a little devilish that day I responded with, smuggly, "well, we wouldn't want that would we." And got in my car and left without giving him directions.

I startet laughing so hard out of nothing and couldn`t stop. People started staring. But the harder you try to stop something, the worth it gets. Since Icouldn`t give myself away, I just stumpled ,,I am only thinking of something funny" and somebody answered sarcastically ,,Well, we figured that much"
I finally left for the ladies room, having made a real fool out of myself.

This thread is so funny because it makes you realise how much of that script we use in our daily lives.
I've had my leg pulled in the office because I keep saying to my boss 'You've got your armour back on' when she's telling me how a meeting went. The best one was when I was in a meeting last Thursday and someone said to a colleague that she should judge the situation dispassionately - I laughed outloud, I had lots of stares because nobody had a clue!!! I said to my husband the other day "take your ego out of the equation" when I was giving him some advice about what to do with some management decision. The look he gave me was priceless and he has now nicknamed me 'M'. All I can say is what is wrong with me? I used to have my own vocabulary. It's just not right is it?

I will be keeping my eye on our Government's money....and off your perfectly formed arse - You noticed!!
My dad and I often use Vesper's "There are dinner jackets and dinner jackets. This is the latter" , replacing 'dinner jackets' by whatever we are talking about in that particular situation
and whenever I shake hands with him or hug him, I say 'you know what I can do with my little finger' - of course in a slightly different sense
