Olsen Twins as "good" Bond girls?

Post by kittin~wiskerz » Sat May 19, 2007 7:40 pm

There seem to be some more rumors floating around. What do you think? It's hard to imagine them playing next to Bond but I haven't actually seen any of their recent work. I guess I'm intrigued because I'm a twin too (though not nearly so young!) but if they play their parts seriously, this might work? There are certainly worse people out there (I won't name any names, but so many young starlettes lately have just gone a little crazy, IMO)

This rumor is as persistant as the Amy Winehouse one, sheeesh!!

According to IMDB (gospel that it is ) Mary-Kate's last role was

• Factory Girl (2006) (uncredited) .... Art Gallery Patron

Ashley hasn't acted since 2004, when they both starred in New York Minute (which I think tanked at the box office) I've read they're both in college now, maybe that accounts for the lack of movie roles.

Although I agree that the movie will have to have other women (or girls) besides The Bond Girl, I just can't take the Olson twins seriously.

C'mon, bring on the rumors!!!

I'm a twin, too, kitten~wiskerz; except I'm so close to their age that I have an extreme built-in hatred of Mary-Kate and Ashley. It's something I seem to share with many other sets of teenage twins, although I can't speak for all. Just the idea of them...eugh. It took me about 3 seconds to decide not to believe this Bond girl rumour; if it turns out to be true, well, my best wishes to Daniel for dealing with them. Sorry if I'm being a little cruel, it's just my own extreme reaction. I've been asked which one I'm more like one too many times, I think.

Okay, maybe I'm a little too irritable right now to be safely travelling the internet. For fear of an onset of "forum rage", I'll sign off.

Got this from yahoo news yesterday:

RUMOR MILL: There is a rumor out there that we want to stop before it gets any further - Mary Kate and Ashley OLSEN WILL NOT be the first or next Bond twins. Our sources say that the report that is spreading on the Internet is not true. Daniel Craig will return as Bond but will not have a set of Bond twins there to assist him on his mission. The next Bond 007 film (Number 22, as yet untitled) is scheduled to be released November 7, 2008.
(access hollywood)

I'm a twin too, but if you see my sis and me together you wouldn't even think we're sisters

This is true!
Just after I posted, I also found a site that said the twin's rep denies the rumor. Probably a good thing. I'd rather not associate them with my precious Bond.

lol! That's exactly how I felt!! I'm not usually the possessive type of girl, but something about the Olsen twins contaminating MY Bond movie made my claws come out. Silly I know

This rumor is just SO over the top
