it's kind of funny that in Our Friends in the North, Daniel's character plays House of the Rising Sun on an organ :D
I wonder if he was thinking of his old band while playing...

Why 007 is so grateful! :D

Apparently Daniel wrote a letter to his former band members, thanking them for being so considerate about that old recording.
At the end of the article there's a picture of the two guys!

Probably right about hearing the song. Nice to hear about the letter he wrote, though. Very thoughtful of him.

"Thank you, I shall treasure it - probably by locking it away!

Now, isn`t this just typical?...also I would do the same, really.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Maybe his voice breaks in it! Like he talks about in the interview. It would be interesting to hear his voice from that age and compare how it has developed over the last 25 years.

Didn't one of the two guys say in the first article that the band did really well although they had never been in a recording studio before? And I remember reading in some old magazine article that the band members chose Daniel as their lead singer because he was the only one whose voice had already changed and he sounded like Mark Knopfler. Boy I'd love to hear that!
