We convince ourselves that we know the other person well, but do we really know anything important about anyone.

Re: Converse Thread
Wow! How did I manage to miss a thread inspired by my own words? I was just strolling around to see if I could find any pics of Daniel in the sneakers and then I come across this. Fabulous Thanks for making this thread!Dunda wrote:As suggested by Raindroproses, all taken from the awful-clothes thread or (awful) hair thread

And how awful they all come from the awful clothes thread!
"Nobody said it was easy... no one ever said it would be this hard. Questions of science, science and progress, do not speak as loud as my heart."
The Converse hi-tops seem to me to be his "Youth" item....Come on, we all have them hiding in our closets. The one thing that we will always have around, no matter how old we are. I think many habits that you have in your teens/twenties pretty much stay with you and this to me is that "remembrance" item. A level of comfort and ease when he has them on, regardless of the suits or where he is going.
The fact that they appear in many of the pre-Bond fame days shows his style in the late 80's....not necessarily great style (sort of sloppy) but the shoes have stayed with him to this day. My personal favourite is the "Emo" look (black and white photo). Oops, I just noticed that they have stripes? are they Converse or are they Adidas?
