Daniel's Voice Used in BBC Education Program
I'm not sure if this was mentioned at the forum, but I just discovered that Daniel narrated a program for BBC Education in 1997. Here are the details (along with a video clip):
Nazi Germany: Master Race
Andrew Chater made the BAFTA-winning series "Nazi Germany" for BBC Education, for British teenagers. Ten years on, it remains the single most commonly used broadcast history resource in UK secondary schools.
A video clip featuring Daniel's voice - which you can find at: http://www.andrewchater.co.uk/film-make ... masterrace - comes from the third programme, "Master Race", which was based on the post-war testimonies of holocaust survivor Elspeth Rosenfeld.
Narrator: Daniel Craig
Elsbeth Rosenfeld played by: Denise Black
Director of Photography: Toby Moore
Music: Sandy Nuttgens
Editor: Mike Burton
Written, produced and directed by Andrew Chater
Daniel's voice can be heard at the beginning of the clip and during the second half. It looks like an interesting program, although obviously depressing, given the subject matter. Too bad that it's not available on DVD.
Anyway, it's interesting that Daniel has been involved in numerous projects involving Nazi Germany - Nazi Germany: Master Race; Sorstalanság ("Fateless"); and Defiance. Do I spot a trend?

The video is on the right side of the page, next to the text. If you can't see it then it must be, as Redluna noted, a problem with QuickTime. Try downloading the current version of QuickTime so that you can see the video.Dunda wrote:I'm blond (ok I was when I was younger) but which video clip?DanFan2 wrote:A video clip featuring Daniel's voice - which you can find at: http://www.andrewchater.co.uk/film-make ... masterrace - comes from the third programme, "Master Race", which was based on the post-war testimonies of holocaust survivor Elspeth Rosenfeld.

A nice read
Andrew Chater was interviewed for a history-teachers forum and was asked the following:
My first question to him is this:
According to this eBay listing - the narrator of the Nazi Germany series was Daniel Craig.
James Bond?
and he answers:
.....
And yes, Dafydd, it was that Daniel Craig. A younger version, obviously - but (if the presence of my entire production team at the commentary recording was anything to go by), just as dishy...

So if Ray is that cheap and doesn't want to share the orange ones, what's about the blue ones?

Oooo who is your psychiatrist? I'm curious to know why he's in hospital! The blue ones are mine. Blue is my favourite colour so the blue ones are for me only. Sorry. There's some other colour pills left.Dunda wrote:My psychiatrist is in hospital for entrainmentStarryDannyFan wrote:God, you all make me laugh today!!!
