I was just thnking of this film today because they showed a film on the movie plex channel calle d A WORLD APART about a young girl ( Jodie Mie who is in FOF) in SA whose mom is inprisoned for supporting the blacks . They have showed almost every film having to do with SA except THE POWER OF ONE . ... Cry Freedom, the one with Sean Bean ... Wings ?, Sarafna, the story of Mandela . Its funny , Morgan Freeman recently said he would like to play a bad guy on a Bond film . He should remind Dan they were in a movie together though I don't remember if they had any scenes together.

You are all welcome, it really was my pleasure.
@Laredo. Morgan Freeman and DC do not have any scenes together in this film.
Crazy!

Jeez.....I know he's only acting and you can't help but see him as DC and not Sgt. Botha but what a horrible character to play and he certainly played it.....Blecch....can't get the taste out of my mouth....blecch....spit, spit, wretch. I feel a little nauseous right about now.
I guess I have to thank you Elaine for the work in putting this up but jeez....I suppose we need to see his villainous characters as much as his heroic ones......bleccch!

I'm with you, Shar. I actually had to quit watching when he started using his whip. What a horrible character.....

What a nasty piece of work he is in that. Not easy to watch that's for sure.

Thanks Elaine
- what a look at 1:08 - you could start kicking him into the a** right there.
BTW - beautiful new siggi FOB !
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Hard to see endeed
We convince ourselves that we know the other person well, but do we really know anything important about anyone.

What a great piece of real shit!
(the character, of course
)
It's really hard to watch him playing such an arsehole.
And even harder that he's playing this so authentic, it hurts!
