I'm with you on that. I think QoS took it's toll. The next Bond movie needs to be gentler on our hero.Faustine wrote:Lu... The man is not ok, the shoulder injuries are so painful. Yep, there's a reason they pay people to do the stunts and double on the dangerous stuff. They don't want to damage the STAR (purse). If Daniel is broken we have no STAR. Broccoli should have put her foot down. Now we have weeks of a recouperating man. Poor Sats, can they do the do with that shoulder that way? What medications and what side effects they must have
He's 40 not 20.
He's 40 not 20.

Well, I read somewhere that this shoulder-problem is an old one.....so maybe his work on QoS isn't the reason for that surgery.
Sure doing the kind of stuff he does, isn't just a conducive thing if you already suffer from a old injury.
But that's one of his attitudes toward work: If you do it, then you have to throw yourself completely into it. And that's what make him such a perfect choise for playing this tough guy......
btw: I really like PB, but could you imagine him doing theses stunts, even when he was younger (PB was 42 when he did Golden Eye)??

Coiffure, the "coiffed" hair he had in those early Bond days, as per this:Dunda wrote:BB, I don't get itbumblebee wrote:Well that would really spoil the coiff that Pierce sported in his Golden Eye days.Dunda wrote: btw: I really like PB, but could you imagine him doing theses stunts, even when he was younger (PB was 42 when he did Golden Eye)??
What's the meaning of "coiff"?

Silly me!
but the only word I found in the dictionary was coif, and I was pretty sure that was not what you meant!
btw: coiffeur (hairdresser) is word we know in german, too.
But sometimes it seems as if my blood is in lower regions than my brain, especially when I'm on the forum

Whoa Bumblebee I like Pierce. This photo looks like something else from the 80's not Bond. A time when everyone wore big hair.bumblebee wrote:Coiffure, the "coiffed" hair he had in those early Bond days, as per this:Dunda wrote:BB, I don't get itbumblebee wrote: Well that would really spoil the coiff that Pierce sported in his Golden Eye days.

Sorry, I posted the first Google Images I found that demonstrated the big hair. It was fairly big for GoldenEye too, wasn't it?
