Thank you Q. I had read about the safety pin in the news up here in Canada after Trump got in and forgot about it, obviously, as I did not even remember that news even after seeing the safety pin on his lapel.

I thought of a men's clothing line with the little anchor that is worn on the lapel, John Varvatos men's clothing - I think that is the line...but you would know far more about that than I

Hence I wondered then why the safety pin.

This is great. I had not heard of this practice either. I just wonder, should we be daunted by 2017 and the prospect of this idiot in the White House or should we be hopeful at the show of solidarity?
