The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

"The Thompson twins soon begin to rue their decision to join the treasure-hunt, because they are consigned to manning the gigantic air pumps supplying the diving suit when Tintin, and later the Captain, explore the wreck. While facing complications like shark attacks, they discover a gold bejeweled cross, a strongbox of old documents, the figurehead of the ship and, to Captain Haddock's delight, a large supply of vintage Jamaican rum"

He in early pirate Red Rackham training..

Sent to me from Laredo:

2 weeks ago: A wax figure of a smiling US President-elect Barack Obama, left, is in a window display of Madam Tussauds Wax Museum with a figure of George W. Bush with suitcases outside the building in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009. Five days prior to his inauguration, Obama's figure was also unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London, Berlin, New York and Las Vegas.

That's a good picture of Obama smiling - it's like he is saying 'Goodbye Georgie Bush, I'm the President now!' With George W Bush looking down after he is leaving his job! Really good picture, thanks Shar.

We convince ourselves that we know the other person well, but do we really know anything important about anyone.
