I recently read an article that said it's become almost standard procedure to pin a baby's ears back before they turn one. The reason is to avoid the teasing/bullying that the child is sure to receive. That's US news - don't know what the procedure is in other countries.

They usually don't do it here in Germany that early in life.
Here it is mostly done when the kids are about 5 or so, because the ears are almost fully grown then. But it happens often that it will get worse again after this first surgery and a second surgery is needed.
There are a few opnions about awhy they put him through the questioning or what the "done" means. I give ON credit, that nobody REALLY knows. All just assumptions. But to me it seems, that he
