The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

I love the last one. That is so lovely.....Daniel rubbing Harrison's back and patting him on the back.Germangirl wrote:Real nice one

To me it looked like a gesture not only of affection but also of protectiveness and gentleness.......that the hero of Daniel's youth must be treated with the utmost respect.
I have just started to look at videos. Dayum, that last one makes me fall in love with the guy. I love how he rubs HF's back.JEC57 wrote:I love the last one. That is so lovely.....Daniel rubbing Harrison's back and patting him on the back.Germangirl wrote:Real nice one

The gesture just so stunning because it is so gentle and yet so masculine. There is nothing effeminate in what he is doing.sf2la wrote:I have just started to look at videos. It shrieks of care, affection, reverence and respect to a man he obviously considers "an elder" as well as a hero and a friend.
If you think about it, Harrison is old enough to be Daniel's father. The expression on Harrison's face, he is obviously comfortable with Daniel being in his space and in physical contact with him.
