Now this is what it is all about imo........with just his eyes, Daniel goes from ironic amusement to pissed off to disgust in the space of 5 frames..........

I don't see it in his eyes. I covered up the rest of his face and just can't see it. I do see it in the mouth and head tilt. AWESOME.

Agreed, whole face, but watch his right eye too. It modifies slightly and that makes a difference. Left one barely shifts.

I think his eyes talk all by themselves, but maybe thats me, and it his facial expressions that are actually changing. Quite fantisating, how it he changes his mood so subtly.

It's not only you.

Sometimes it just his eyes and a slightly move of his lips.

When the Skyfall association comes up it's very intense, his eyes are the most impressive I've ever seen.

dunda i think that way too, i think he has done it so many times in films, uses those eyes like a tool to totally convey his emotion. Dont know how he does it. Just thinking about in the comedy sketch with Catherine tate, when she said I want John nettles. The total hurt in his eyes at the point, u just wanted hug him and say there, there, baby. (She's a cow).

For me, the first thing I look at when seeing a new piece of Daniel film is his eyes. He conveys the exact meaning of what the scene is with them, and so damn accurately.

I think he is very aware of how useful they are to him in close-ups. He does use every part of himself to great effect, but those eyes are a gift that I think most actors would give a right arm for.
