When I was stagedooring him and on vids, I have often seen, that while he was just laughing and smiling and being all gracious with the fans, he composed himself for the pics. Maybe he thinks, not smiling lessens the craggy lines and that is better. IF that is so, what a shame. There is no one in this world and I truly believe that, who is more gorgeous then him smiling.
And also, I think, he feels silly smiling on demand.
That's interesting, I'm so jealous that you've actually seen him close up! I don't imagine I ever will.

I've no idea. I got it from this forum. I think it's from the days of filming Casino Royale, but I could be wrong!

Didn't want to get in your way with answering, I don't think, its from the Bond on Set book, but its deffo from filming the gun barrel or filming the bathroom scene at the beginning. He wore the same outfit for that.

Greg Williams made the pic. It didn't make it in the CR on Set book.

Maybe he took them from Rachels wardrobe.

These are so good! He looks very well - why can't he keep his hair at this lenght?
Whenever I see photos which are taken during SF period or later and in which he looks so good, I am puzzled thinking what they did to him for SF
