Let's not forget this part. Where it comes from. Good hunting Jec, thanks.

in time’s a noble mercy of proportion
with generosities beyond believing
(though flesh and blood accuse him of coercion
or mind and soul convict him of deceiving)
whose ways are neither reasoned nor unreasoned,
his wisdom cancels conflict and agreement
–saharas have their centuries,ten thousand
of which are smaller than a rose’s moment
there’s time for laughing and there time for crying–
for hoping for despair for peace for longing
–a time for growing and a time for dying:
a night for silence and a day for singing
but more than all(as all your more than eyes
tell me)there is a time for timelessness
Crazy!

Right, I think I may have cracked what HGS stands for...or I could be barking up the wron tree completely!
Hala's Gatha-Sattasal or Sattasai.
The sattasai are a compilation of Poetry written in sanskrit about life and love in ancient India - put together by Hala who was the ruler of an ancient dynasty.
The poems probably date back from before the 7th century - and there is a quote about about timelessness but Ive lost it and cannot find it anywhere now!!

King Hala (who wrote “Gatha Saptha Shathi” in Pyshachika language.
It seems the Sanskrit angle is most correct. I could not find any quotes yet but I will look.
http://www.hindu.com/2005/12/12/stories ... 380200.htm
The data the book provides on the antiquity of the language assumes importance in the light of the efforts of the Government in convincing the Union Government that Kannada should be accorded the status of classical language.
Making an appeal to readers of the book to "use Kannada and save Kannada," the book says, "Kannada has not become the sovereign language of the State even after 50 years of its reorganisation. Although it is true that lack of political will has been responsible for the situation, there are talks that Kannadigas are not bothered about their own land and language."
Tracing the antiquity of Kannada, the book claims that the term "Karnata" figures in the Mahabharata. Sanskrit "Matachi" in Chandogya Upanishad is the root form of "Midathe." The term "Isila" meaning a town of forts is found in an inscription of Ashoka in Brahmagiri in Chitradurga district. Kannada words are found in the Greek comedies of second AD and the Shatavahana king Hala's "Gatha Sapta Shati."

I keep seeing the meaning of timelessness throughout sanskrit through teachings and meditation.
Transcendental meditation give timelessness.
I think this is the origin of phrase and the initials are indeed for Hala's Gatha-Sattasal. But I keep looking.
Maybe Daniel is now studying it or becoming buddhist? I think SG nailed origins of HGS. it all make sense to me.
but then it in torah/Qur'an
http://www.harunyahya.com/timelessness01.php
"To sum up, time and space are concepts that are not absolute, that have a beginning, and that were created by Allah from nothing. Allah, Who has created time and space, is certainly beyond these concepts. Allah has defined, determined and created every moment of time in timelessness. This is what underlies the essence of the reality of "Fate," which materialists fail to comprehend"
i think being on islam owned ranch in NM he maybe get study something, maybe i feel its this. i will keep looking as it give me something to do. but sylvias girl is right, i am 100% sure.
