Nay, too old. Though I liked him really much as Duncan (He was Duncan Mcleod, wasn't he?). I don't know what he looks like with short hair also007cheese wrote:My Chem teacher made me think...if he wasn't so old, Adrian Paul might be all right for Bond. Just a thought. Aye? Nay?
Vesper Lynd: I'll keep my eyes on our government's money and off your perfectly formed arse.
James Bond: You noticed.
James Bond: You noticed.
Adrian was on a show on the sci fi channel a couple of years back , He was still major hot . He was a alien who took his human shape from a pic of a a shirtless underware model
on a billboard. He worked in bar and did a striptease to get more girl patrons in and boy did he !!! He is hot but I think he would be too old .

He does look good with short hair He would have been great as James Bond but he's too old now, he's almost 48 year's old ( end of May).
But Daniel is the BEST James Bond ever

My opinion is - Daniel has nailed the part of JB and I don't want to think about who might follow him... That's so many years down the line and I don't want to think that far ahead! Daniel IS James Bond, for the time being. Even though I thought no-one could follow Pierce Brosnan (who I didn't think was too bad in the role - he was better than Roger Moore who made the part too comic), I now think that no-one can follow Daniel either!
It's true I noticed Daniel for the first time in 'Casino' BUT I don't think the reason why I'm so attracted to him is down to him playing James Bond. I've thought about this quite alot and I'm certain that it's because Daniel is Daniel that I like him so much. (I hesitate to use the word 'love' - that can complicate feelings alot.) Daniel is gorgeous and talented with considerable acting talents so who am I to complain? I just want to see him in more movies period not just Bond movies...

Too early to talk about it girlies
The first time I saw a Bond film was with my father whom I adored at the Orpheum Theatre back in '68. I was of course totally unaware of what a crush was at the time but I thought Sean Connery was very handsome and the woman, whoever it was was beautiful. Because of my father and his fascination with Bond - I had tried to watch all subsequent episodes.
Moore - I only remember vaguely as being comical in most of his movies.
Dalton - did not even see
Brosnan - I vaguely remember seeing one or two (I think he was far better in The Thomas Crown Affair and other films outside of Bond)
I heard about a new Bond movie (CR) in the news one day and some talk about a blond guy...I paid little attention because I lost interest so long ago. The buzz about the film starting to draw me in - everyone seemed to get very animated when talking about the new star.
I finally had a chance to watch it when it came out on video and was godsmacked at how good the film was and particularly Mr. Craig - Oh my my my.....Now, I wish I had seen it in the theatre instead.
But Bond was just the beginning as my obsession grew more intense - I wanted to rewind and check out more of Daniel's acting. He is brilliant. He need not worry about being typecast but while he's doing the next 2 he should definitely consider leaving an indelible mark because he has stamped CR forever with Craig appeal. This would be a "Christmas box set" that will sell out for a long time, if the writing and ideas stay fresh. Daniel - you need a good lawyer and an even better royalty contract.

When Dc is done with Bond
For me I could'nt accept anybody else after Daniel - unfortunately this means, he has to retire or to die when he is fed up with the role...
But I don't want to think about it now - let's enjoy every Bond or other movie with Daniel as if it would be the last!

When he retires and doesn`t get kicked out (very unlikely) - imagine Barbara doing that [-( - because he`s got everything out of Bond that he feels is possible, I can exept another Bond. Than its like he gave his ok.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
