You found a photo that caught the sadness so exquisitely. This is my most favorite scene. Amazing to find such a scene in a Bond movie.

You are so right, it's so easy to forget the shift in the franchise from crass jokes and double entendres, Roger Moore would probably have had, and be ass slapping, a scantily clad Bond girl sat on his lap by now.
