Generally I don't like to see hair on chest, but Dan's is not disgusting. The color, shading and volume is modest.

Trouble is - you can never tell till it's too late. Not really a question you can dangle in front of them on a first date "how hairy are you?".

I like DC's chest hair and I think a little goes along way. So long as the man doesn't look like this/or worse (or grossly shows it off like this):
