New interview from Interview Mag

Post by breefree7 »

Hi Ladies -- this is my first post here, so I hope I do this right! Interview mag (where the new pics from Just Jared came from) has a part of their interview online. Here's the link:

(If this doesn't work, just go to www.interviewmagazine.com and click the cover story.)

Enjoy!!

Thanks a lot and welcome breefree7 :D

Nice appetizer ... I am dying now for reading the whole interview!

Sam Taylor-Wood is the same photographer that made the work with men celebrities crying (Daniel among them), isn't she?

YEP

Just found this:
"In a recent interview, Sam Taylor-Wood explained, “I am interested in how humans respond and react in moments of crisis. I want to examine the physical manifestations of anxiety.”

The main attraction begins subsequent to the short film. The essential part of her exhibit includes 27 Crying Men (2002-04) easily recognized for their cinematic acclaim. An entire room filled with the faces of names like Paul Newman, Willem DaFoe, Benicio Del Toro, and Dustin Hoffman—all at their most lugubrious. Daniel Craig and Hayden Christensen struck me the most with their honest, melancholy eyes.

Daniel Craig’s (#19) eyes light up in ice blue and crimson red. The daylight strikes his face and highlights his best features. His hand hides his mouth as if to conceal his quivering lips. His left hand is at his right knee clenched in a fist. The composition of the black shadows, the white light, and the blue of his jeans and eyes is brilliant."

I'm dying to get this mag. Not to sound stupid, but is this a UK or a US publication?

Thanks for the welcomes! I've been visiting for a while, but usually everyone else has good news and pics to post before I do. :D But I enjoy the fun conversations and the fact that everyone is so nice to each other!!

Interview is a US magazine. It's a little larger than the usual sized magazines. Which means...bigger pics??? :P :D I hope so.

Nooo! American? I was looking forward to reading it.

I'll have to try in some specialised magazine stores. :(
