I would suggest to post the twitter things in the twitter thread!

To be honest, most of twitter posts don't give real informations.

IMO the fact that John Doe has bumped into Daniel on the street or that he was seen at a certain restaurant isn't that informativ.

One rare exceptions would be the info about future film locations.

I think one twitter is enough and boring to get twice when you get gmail alerts...I just read that ...WTF ? IMHO . Unlike photos in different threads where I might want to see his pics from a film set in the set thread and not just in the movie thread . .

from 'dominic greene' from CbN who lives near oakville, his report on a day's filming:

"Anyways, I saw Craig filming and the scene had something to do with the police I'll try to recreate what happens in the scene,

A police car pulls up beside Craig. They get out.

Another police car comes.

They say something like he cannot be here, but Craig is like,

"This my house, you see-"
He holds a piece of paper up.

The police deny that it is or something then he says,
"This is my ing house!"

He walks away arguing with the police and thats all I can recite from the scene

At one he was singing in between takes LOL"

Gairloch Gardens turns Hollywood
Daniel Craig’s Dream House now shooting
.

Actor Daniel Craig, best known for his role as the current James Bond, is in Oakville shooting parts of a psychological thriller.

The film, Dream House, being produced by Morgan Creek Productions, features Craig, Naomi Watts and Rachel Weisz.

The plot of the film involves a successful publisher, Craig, who relocates his family from a city to a quiet town. The family then learns that their new home is haunted by its murdered former inhabitants.

The filming in Oakville takes place in Gairloch Gardens and in one of the houses in the garden, located at 1312 Lakeshore Rd. E.

During the filming passersby can be seen standing by the entrance of the park hoping for a glimpse of the stars.

“It was pretty cool to see someone so famous so close,” said nearby resident Steve Wingrove on Tuesday after seeing Craig walk through the park. “It’s fascinating to see this stuff, the filmmaking. It’s a lot of work.”

Of Craig, Wingrove said, “I’ve seen his movies and the James Bond films and to see him in person is pretty cool.”

Another resident, Arthur Kendrick, who lives across from Gairloch, said he’s able to watch the filmmaking from his window.

“It’s a bit disturbing to have these cars on the road,” he said. “I wake up at four in the morning and I see these flashing lights outside, but otherwise it hasn’t disturbed me.”

Another Oakville resident, Connie McClure, brought her daughter along to watch the filmmaking.

“It’s just fun,” she said. “My daughter has never seen a movie being made before and it was fun to see the house and the fake snow. It’s fun to see a winter wonderland this time of year because we haven’t had one...”

McClure and her daughter had seen both Craig and Watts during the filming.

The production company rented several homes adjacent to Gairloch Gardens. They also made a duplicate of the 1312 Lakeshore Rd. E. home right in the park. This duplicate home will be subject to a controlled, special-effects burn. However, the house is built of fireproof materials and the flames will not be constant and the smoke will be artificial. The Oakville Fire Department will also be on site during the burning.

The production company has agreed to put neighbouring residents in hotels if they are disturbed by the filmmaking.

The shooting is expected to last until the end of this month. The park is open to the public, however it is closed during the filming.

That scene of burning the house would be awesome to watch. I guess in these types of situations, there are no retakes. At least in Casino Royale, they had a couple of Aston Martins to destroy.

I would think, they have so many cameras to film it from every ankle, that they can´t miss to get what they need. Same when they blew up the Las Dunas for QOS - that thing was gone after one take.

and it would have been rehearsed in a simulated environment beforehand followed by post-production touch-ups.
