He landed the part with a bunch of quality actors when he was right out of the Guildhall, and then made a searing impact on the action. Can't think of too many actors who do that.

I think the poster meant the the role in Tomb Raider was something you have to forgive and he recognized this when re remembered The Pwer od One

I read it that way too.....but still don't think the role, or the way Daniel portayed it, needs to be forgiven.

Just my 2cents worth......I'm rather attached to The Power of One. It brought us Daniel on the big screen for the first time and, as the saying goes "the boy did good".
