The way we know Daniel, he wouldn't agree on something like this. He never was one to bring his name in the news with gossip. IF they are together, it still doesn't mean, he is cheating on Sats. I don't believe that either. IF indeed he fell in love with Rachel, its probably done the way we would do it too. Tell the partner its over and move on. But Sats was with him in Canada - the way they spend the whole time together, it would have been hard to cheat, I think. I feel, falling in love normally is a process, that takes some time. I am sure, too, he tried to fight his feelings in favour of staying with Satsuki. All this takes time. But if Sats visited him rather than lived with him during filming, there was plenty of time. There is always that transition period when you are involved with one person and starting something new with another. I think it's interesting that this Dan-Rachel news came out of the blue today for us. Sats was with Daniel in Canada during DH filming, there were photos of them together there out on the street and pics of her visiting him on set for his birthday.
He would had to have indulged in a quickie behind the sound stage and/or have been incredibly duplicitious to allow his feelings to grow with Sats sitting faithfully back the hotel waiting for him, and that does not seem like him.
The minus points are Rachel did not deny the rumours and the Manhatten apartment could have been in lieu of a divorce settlement, Daniel's way of making sure Sats was okay financially before he left.
But.....until I see an official announcement or a pic of Daniel and Rachel around hand-in-hand, I don't buy it.

. I actually can't really say much, except that I stay at Sats side with my heart and hope it's all just gossip. If not I hope every person involved will find a way to live.
