I agree with Clive Owen, who by the way is a superb actor in his own right.....just did not fall for him the way I did for DC. I loved him in Closer though - absolutely dangerously hot.
Sharmaine, is that the film he did with Julia Roberts?
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
There is something in his voice that disturbs me very much.sharmaine wrote:Love your avatar Faustine....could you give us a bigger one of the same in the eyes thread maybe?

Have seen almost so many movies like that I have seen with Daniel. (17-18 more or less)
Both make me go to the cinema, only for seeing them on giant screen.
Closer is my favorite, overcoat for the final scene in the one that ill-treats the Jude Law's unbearable one

Hm, probably getting hit for this. I really wanted to like him, because from the pics I had seen, he looked interesting - but in that first film I ever saw him in, I found him - not good at all. The astonishing thing for me was, that I found him to be so boring to watch. Don´t know why, even.sharmaine wrote:yes - he was Julia's husband who spies on her via Natalie Portman who is Jude Law's love interest. The scene with him and Natalie in the lapdance room is on the verge of pornographic but much more tastefully done.

No need to wonder why GG.....Clive Owen does not turn my crank in the same way DC does.
There was a feeling of weakness that he momentarily had when he was engaging in seductive conversation with Natalie that made his animalistic, brute, rude persona almost succumb to this young creature dancing in front of him that caught my eye.

Doesn't the article seem a part of the one below?

I think it is natural that Clive should praise Daniel and what's more he should have revealed that he was not asked for the new Bond in CR earlier than when Daniel was bullied by a lot of people. I feel very frustrated because even now a lot of people are still misunderstanding that Daniel was given the role of Bond after Clive turned down.
