Bet on SG to bring us some real NEWS in the middle of all the *** we are doing :lol. Thanks for that. From what I read, the fanboys are all for her, so I am fine with her, too. Can't really get excited about the girls..:dunno:
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

I'm getting annoyed with Naomi Harris's demands in the press. In one interview she said she'd only consider the film if her role was "substantial" What does substantial mean? Now she is saying she won't strip off. There is no total nudity in Bond, everyone knows that and DC had to "strip off" down to a bathing suit in CR. She is not a star, and she shouldn't be making demands in the press. I"ve never ever heard DC negotiate or discuss a role before he was signed and he IS a star. tampa

Agreed, if she really is saying all of this, but we don't know that for sure or in which context she said it.
From following DC and the press its obvious, that nothing you read can be taken for granted. They lie through their teeth all the time...

But if she acts like a diva already, she might regret it.

Total agreement. I do think the smart ones keep their mouths totally shut until they are signed, and even then are careful. If she said this stuff, diva she is and EON is lucky to know it before they sign her. t.

Even if they do sign her, DC will "undiva" her very quick - just by being himself on set.

..but I don't want to judge her yet. IF she is signed, we sure will find out more about her.

Is it just me? :-k I have zero interest in who is cast as the Bond girl(s). Absolutely none. All I care is that whoever is chosen doesn't bring the reviews down for DC and others involved in the film.

This was in the news today. Forster - ouch!

'Casino Royale' Director calls 'Quantum of Solace' a 'mess'

With Green Lantern currently at the box office, its director, Martin Campbell, is taking the opportunity to get some three-year-old gripes off his chest. The director is credited with giving the James Bond franchise the reboot it needed with 2006’s Casino Royale starring Daniel Craig, but he says the movie’s sequel, 2008's Quantum of Solace, didn’t quite keep the momentum going.
“Oh, I thought it was lousy,” Campbell tells CraveOnline. “And hopefully this next one will be terrific. Sam Mendes is directing it and I’m sure it’ll be terrific.”
We do hope that Mendes (Revolutionary Road) lives up to Martin’s expectations on Bond 23, because it seems he’ll probably hear about it later.
“I just thought the story was pretty uninteresting,” Campbell goes on to say about Quantum of Solace. “I didn’t think the action was related to the characters. I just thought overall it was a bit of a mess really.”

He is right, of course, even though it was not ALL bad, but now the critics and many movie goers call HIS film a complete mess. Maybe he should have kept it to himself.
