Warner Bros’ Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows has been tracking really big in recent weeks despite the box office slump. So it’s no surprise that the latest MovieTickets poll finds that over 40% of the 6,700 moviegoing poll participants who are buying tickets this holiday season are most excited to see that sequel. Here are the stats:
Which movie are you most excited to see this holiday season?
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (Warner Bros) – 40.9%
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (Sony) – 26.1%
Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (Paramount) – 20.6%
New Year’s Eve (Warner Bros) – 12.4%
So - Sherlock starts one week earlier, so we will see, if Tattoo can come our first or not.

The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

I don't expect Tattoo to come out on top. After all it is rated R or 18 in the UK. The others potentially have a bigger market.Germangirl wrote:Warner Bros’ Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows has been tracking really big in recent weeks despite the box office slump. I think this might already be here somewhere but if not...just saw this last night. Very funny. I think Joe M. is going to give DC a run for his money in my lust thoughts.
