TV alert!!

Post by Anglophile »

ATTENTION GERMAN FANS ---

Mads M. is on TV here tomorrow in "King Arthur" (Pro7, 8.15 pm). I didn't see the film when it was playing in theatres so I don't know if it's any good, but from what I've read about the plot I have to seriously warn everyone not to believe anything they say from a historical point of view... I've heard that in the movie they have Saxons attacking Hadrian's Wall  - from the NORTH at that!   *cringing* :P
But that's not Mads's fault after all, so I guess I'll try to catch a glimpse of him during dinner 8)

Okay so I watched King Arthur and I did in fact recognise Mads in spite of all that hair . Nice to, errm, 'see' him, well sort of, and some of the other guys were easy on the eye too, not to mention the horses... otherwise all I can say is -- OMG what a load of COMPLETE CRAP! :P That story was so wrong on so many levels that I could write an essay now, but I better not start or I won't know how to stop anymore. On the up side, it had a nice Hans Zimmer soundtrack. Image

NOT TV but mag alert for the Germans - only. Sorry :(

TV Movie 2/08 starting 11. January - having The Jacket DVD !
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..
