OMG :rotfl:
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Edward Porter gives Skyfall a good review – 4 out of 5 stars (A-OK) – in today’s edition of the Sunday Times. I have the newspaper but I don’t have a subscription to access online content, so I can’t provide the online review.

Here are a couple of quotes from the article:
Craig has developed an authoritative Bond persona, dry and intelligent, while Bardem has a fine time as Silva, a blond camp show-off who tries to psych James out by coming on strong.
Bardem is a particularly apt match for Craig in their scenes together, as he’s one of the few actors around with a forehead/nose junction that’s even flatter and bonier than the Bond star’s. The two of them could butt heads like a couple of bison.

Another good review in today's Independent.

The new 007, with its wit, panache and crashing thrills, is the freshest, most entertaining in ages

I think, this article is wrong in the most important part - the script. EVERYBODY has praised the script and here, its been described as a weak link. Wrong..

I predict it will beat the 70 Mill QOS made on the love of CR, IF no storm etc pisses on the parade.
The top notch acting in the Weisz/Craig/Spall 'Betrayal' is emotionally true, often v funny and its beautifully staged with filmic qualities..

Can someone more in-the-know than me answer me a question? :?

Has Skyfall opened in America yet and, if not, when does it? I'm just wondering if Hurricane Sandy is going to impact the opening should it be this Friday. I hope not for the sake of Eon and the US fans!! I also hope Daniel isn't in NYC right now. I want him (and any forum members in that area) to stay safe.

Ignore me. Question just answered by GG in Box Office thread. SF opens November 9th in USA. Hopefully, the storms will have abated by then. And I guess Daniel is still doing the rounds in Europe.......
